Nehal Shah is a practising artist and the founder of Kala Darshan Art Academy, established in 1998 in Sabarmati, Ahmedabad. What began as a personal mission to make art education accessible and joyful has grown into one of Ahmedabad's most trusted art schools — rated 5.0 stars across 104 Google reviews.
Her teaching philosophy has always been simple: every person has a unique creative voice. Her role is to help them find it, trust it, and express it — through technique, practice, and courage. Over 25 years, she has shaped the artistic journeys of more than 5,000 students.
Beyond The Art Lab online platform, Nehal continues to teach in person at Kala Darshan Art Academy, offering diploma courses, state-level exam preparation, and the full range of art disciplines she has mastered over a lifetime of practice.
